Haiku my heart: Behind

Behind these two windows is my mind
Two women live there - I find
one is crazy, the other one kind

I find this photograph simply beautiful. It looks like something that Waterhouse might have painted. The color and light are marvellous. If I were the speaker of this poem, I would embrace both women. I would ask each one why she was here and what she had to tell me. I might find out too if there were any other vistors arriving and welcome them as well, for they are all guides in one way or another, aren't they?

What a lovely, thoughtful image and haiku. I can appreciate the dichotomy, as well. It is good to honor both.

thank you for your offering here. i can hardly stop looking at this image. unbelievable how it shifts from one face to the next.
i love the mystery of it. the powerful presence of both faces, depending on the viewers gaze.
we are all such complex creations.
i love the facination your words conjure up.
thank you for being here.

Not mutually exclusive I don't think :-)
I should say: I hope.
