Who art thee

Who, but who art thee?

Fun haiku and puppet photo.

Riette,
This is interesting and wonderful. I am fascinated by the fact that both of the figures appear to be puppets controlled by someone from above. In addition, she wears a burka. His expression looks entirely robotic. I am wondering who your message is meant for. Thanks for posting this intriguing piece.

Thank you Boonie, Noelle, Marilyn and Magical Mystery teacher. You are right. All four of you. It is a fun haiku and a fun puppet photo, but like we say in Afrikaans "lag met 'n traan" Fun with a hidden tear.
I am feeling stalked, but not by a living human being. By the dead.
Noelle, you see things as they are. You saw the symbolism of what I meant by my choice of an image.
I am the stalked and at the same time I am the hand controlling the puppet.
I control the stalker and I control my fear of the stalker.
I have a choice in the matter, haven't I

Making light of our fears often makes them shrink. Creative way to face (and conquer!) whatever it is that is making you uneasy. Love the drawing - that fearful thing doesn't look quite so fearsome. ;)

Thank you for explaining the haiku, Riette. I'm afraid I didn't see the symbolism but now that I do I find your haiku extremely well written.
