Riette ~ This is lovely. It is magical actually. There is of course the hint of the Michelangelo painting here in this beautiful image (the numinous aspect of it with the translucent light shining on the hands. The water is (in dreams) a symbol of the unconscious but it is in every way about human emotion, human dream and desire, and how it is sated by memory and imagination-the two co-creators of relationship between men and women.

Thanks a lot, Noelle. It took me ages to write this and you saw in it everything I tried to carry across . .and even more!

oh riette,
this is beautiful in vision and word. i too thought first of michelangelo's luminous hands...the hand of creation awakening the divinity of man.
this beautifully reflects your desire to touch your dreams. deseo intenso indeed,
to be aware of what is and what can be!
